Explanation of Special Financial Aid Offer to Wesley College Transfer:

♦ The Toccoa Falls College Financial Aid Office will coordinate with the Wesley Financial Aid Officer for all Wesley students with financial aid awards from Wesley College.

♦ TFC will apply a special Wesley Grant to Wesley transfer students to offset the difference in tuition and room & board between Wesley and TFC. The net cost for the student at TFC, after all Wesley and TFC financial aid is applied, should be the same as it would have been at Wesley.

♦This special consideration will be given to Wesley transfer students each year while continuously enrolled at TFC. The financial aid package will remain the same each year depending upon the following factors: Expected Family Contribution, GPA or Satisfactory Academic Process, Federal and State requirements, Federal Loan eligibility, and Institutional requirements – Institutional aid is dependent upon several factors, including hours enrolled, campus residency status, etc.

Financial Aid Action Steps for Wesley College Transfers:
♦ Students with completed financial aid awards from Wesley should access their 2010 FAFSA at www.fafsa.ed.gov and add Toccoa Falls College (code 001596) to the list of colleges to receive the FAFSA information.

♦ Students without financial aid from Wesley or who have not yet completed the FAFSA for the 2010-2011 year should log on to www.fafsa.ed.gov and complete the 2010 FAFSA. Be sure to add Toccoa Falls College (code 001596) to the list of schools to receive the information.

♦ All students must complete the TFC Financial Aid Application found on the Financial Aid section of the TFC website. TFC is required to have on file certain information requested on the TFC Financial Aid application.

♦Students must have completed an MPN (Master Promissory Note) and Entrance Counseling for Federal Direct Loans and must complete the FAFSA Verification process if chosen for verification by the Dept. of Education.

Toccoa Falls College wants to make your transfer from Wesley College as smooth and easy as possible. We are ready to offer automatic admission to any student at Wesley College for the Fall 2010 semester. The application for admission process has been streamlined just for Wesley College students. Application Made Easier:
To help make the transition as easy as possible, Toccoa Falls College is:
   1.Waiving the $25.00 application fee.
   2.Waiving the $200.00 enrollment deposit
   3.Maintaining the net costs for Wesley College students (see Financial Aid section for details)
   4.Honoring roommate requests for transferring students
   5.Offering automatic admission to Toccoa Falls College for Wesley College transfers

Explanation from the TFC Registrar’s Office to Wesley College Transfers:
1. Program Transfer
  ♦ If you are within two semesters of graduation from Wesley, you may choose to graduate with a degree from Wesley College. Wesley College administrators will join our commencement programs to award these degrees.

  ♦If you decide to take your degree through TFC and can complete the requirements within a year, we will waive our residency requirement and advise you according to the requirements of your major in the Toccoa Falls College 2010 Catalog.

2. Once the Wesley College student file has been received and processed through the TFC Admissions Office, the TFC Registrar’s Office will:
  a) assign an academic advisor in the major of the student's choice
  b) conduct a transfer credit evaluation to apply all credit
  c) provide a list of remaining course requirements in the student's major
  d) register you for fall classes
  e) coordinate with the Wesley Registrar's office for all 2011 graduates of Wesley College for remaining degree requirements.

3. Additionally:
  ♦ Completed Wesley College Christian Service assignments will transfer directly as Toccoa Falls College Student Ministries.
  ♦ Grades in core and major programs will be applied under the same conditions as core and major programs at Wesley College.

Special Online Class information for Wesley College Transfers
Students who cannot move to Georgia have an opportunity to enroll in our Distance Education program! With classes offered online throughout the year and a charitable transfer of your credits, Wesley students are poised to transition directly into these programs.

Toccoa Falls College Online offers three programs: a Bible certificate program (CLIMB), a B.S. in Ministry Leadership degree (LEADS), and a B.S. in Non-Profit Business Administration (NPBA). In these programs you will receive the expert teaching and guidance of our own TFC professors.

On behalf of the entire Student Development team, welcome!

I am delighted that you have taken the time to visit our site and will consider completing your collegiate experience at Toccoa Falls College. Our entire focus is making sure that your student experience at TFC is the best possible one.

While there are many reasons students have chosen Toccoa Falls College for over 100 years, we believe that one of the deciding factors is the premier student experience we provide. Our students have a myriad of opportunities to get involved. We offer a variety of student clubs that include: Drama Club, Outdoor Club, Pre-Med Association, Martial Arts Club, and many others. Students enjoy cheering on our men’s and women’s athletic teams at home and on the road and also have an opportunity to get in the game by participating in our strong intramural program. Our residence life team and student government association have been busy planning and preparing for a year of activities, events, and programs. Ministry and service opportunities are also available and we hope you will consider joining or perhaps leading one of these groups or projects in the upcoming school year. The Student Development division also includes Residence Life, Community Life, Campus Security, Health Services, Retention, Career Services, Judicial Processes, and Counseling Services.

The bottom line is that you will have plenty to do outside of the classroom at Toccoa Falls College. This summer we are making some improvements to our campus coffee shop, renovating a brand new student lounge in the student center, and planning some really exciting events for the upcoming school year. We want you to be involved!

A Message from the Director of Spiritual Formation

We invite you to join our spiritual formation community here in NE Georgia!

While spiritual growth cannot be forced or mandated, we seek to create opportunities for spiritual nurturing and encouragement on our campus. We have regular chapel services for corporate worship and the ministry of the Word; we have weekly Barnabas Groups so that students can engage in life discussions and pray for each other; we have Student Ministry opportunities so that students can serve in the community and local churches; we have student-led prayer and worship gatherings that pop up all over campus; and we have a foundational spiritual formation course for new students that provides an orientation to the spiritual life.

If you want to grow in your relationship with the Lord, join us in that pursuit at TFC!
