There is no doubt that 2014 will be the year for a myriad of changes at Toccoa Falls College. Aside from obtaining a new major in Sustainable Development in the fall and the largest graduating class since 2009 this spring, TFC has also been ranked as the 2nd best evangelical college in the South for having one of the “Best Online Programs for Veterans,” according to U.S. News & World Report.

Since the passing of the 9/11 GI Bill in 2008, enrollment of veterans in educational programs have sky-rocketed and a large percentage of them are adults who are “going back to school.” Due to the chances of being deployed at any moment and the challenges of having a family while attending college, online programs are ideal for nontraditional students, such as the service members and veterans of our National Defense.

In order to serve the veterans and service members of our nation, Toccoa Falls College offers the following online programs: A.A. in Business Administration, A.A. in General Studies, B.S. in Ministry Leadership, B.S. in Nonprofit Business Administration, B.S. in Organizational Leadership, B.S. in Youth Ministries, and the CLIMB Bible Certificate.

These rankings, according to U.S. News, “were designed to help veterans identify high-quality online degree programs that suit their educational needs” (Haynie, U.S. News). Toccoa Falls College is honored to be acknowledged as having one of the best online programs for veterans, and even more grateful to host the valiant men and women that defend our nation.
