The Secondary Education Program leads to certification in grades 6-12 in a specific field of study: English, history, or science. Content area courses in the field of choice are a large part of the academic load. As with other majors, methodology courses and application involvement through field experiences round out a well-balanced program in preparing candidates to be effective teachers.
