Fall Orientation 2015: INFO COMING SOON

New student orientation is designed for traditional, transfer and commuter students to engage in the campus culture at TFC as you prepare for your new college adventure. On move-in & registration day (Tuesday, August 19, 2014), students and parents can expect to:

  • Complete the registration process (to include meeting with Financial Aid, and satisfying your school bill with Student Accounts, if needed)
  • Receive your student I.D. (come prepared to have your picture taken!)
  • Move-in to Residence Halls (Resident students only)
  • Attend New Student & Parent Welcome Sessions
  • Enjoy dinner/refreshments as you mingle with TFC faculty, staff, and other new students

Throughout orientation week, students can expect to:

  • Unpack and get settled into your dorm (Resident students only)
  • Meet other Class of 2018 students
  • Take a campus tour led by a TFC student leader
  • Establish relationships with TFC faculty, staff and students
  • Attend sessions and interact with peers to become familiar with campus resources
  • Engage in small and large group activities and events
  • Complete necessary tasks as you prepare to be a TFC student

All new students (traditional, transfer & commuter) are expected to attend orientation week so that each will be equipped with the knowledge and experience needed to allow for a smooth transition into the college. Please plan to arrive on campus in the morning on Tuesday, August 19, so that afternoon activities are not missed.
