Student Ministries

For over 100 years students who have been attending TFC have been ministering throughout the community. In the book, A Tree God Planted by Troy Damron he tells of the beginning of Student Ministry as it is known today.  Students held services on street corners, in jails, in churches and in homes as Bible study groups. Students conducted children’s meetings, worked in summer camps and participated in house-to-house visitation.

Today students are involved in many of these same ministries and more. Student ministry wants to encourage spiritual formation through guiding students into ministries where they can practice what they are learning in class. Wisdom in Praxis is what STM is all about.

Student Ministry is organized as a practical extension of classroom learning. Each semester TFC students participate in vital ministries on campus, in local churches, with service organizations, and around the world.
