General Requirements
Spiritual
- The student ust have accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as at least six months before matriculation.
- The student must have evidence of good Christian character.
- The student must have abstained from use of tobacco, alcohol, and illegal drugs for at least six months before matriculation.
- The student must have regular attendance in an evangelical church.
- The student must be in agreement with, or accept, the college's doctrinal statement and policies.
Academic
- All applicants must have graduated from high-school prior to enrollment or passed the GED Test prior to acceptance
- TFC requires all students who do not have 24 earned college-level credits to take the Scholatic Achievement Test (SAT) or the American College Test (ACT) as part of the admission process. Students should arrange to have scores sent directly from the testing agencies to the Office of Online Admissions at TFC. Students can find information about the SAT at www.collegeboard.com. the SAT school code for TFC is 5799. Students can find information about the ACT at www.act.org. The ACT code for TFC is 0868.
Degree Completion Program Requirements
- Applicants must be at least 23 years old of have been out of high-school for at least five years before starting on the B.S. in Ministry Leadership major classes (CED and LIM prefixed courses). there are no age requirements to take the other online classes.
- Because this programis structured as a degree completion major, students must have accumalted a total of at least 72 credit hours before enrolling in the B.S. Ministry Leadership major courses. However, students, who lack up to 15 inmet prerequisite hours, may be considered for admission with a docuented plan as to how they plan to meet the remaining prerequisites prior to the final 24 hours of B.S. in Ministry Leadership major courses. The 72 prerequiaite hours will consist of undergraduate studoes including the fulfillment af a core of general educatiom courses and basic Bible courses.
Home-Schooled Students
TFC encourages home-schooled students to apply. Regular admission policies apply to home-schooled students. Transcripts from an accreditation or outside group are preferred, but not necessary. Home-schooled students are not required to take the GED test with acceptable transcripts and test scores.
