Professor of Old Testament and Hebrew

Dr. Hildenbrand joined the Toccoa Falls College faculty in 2001. Before coming to TFC he was a teaching assistant at U.C. Berkeley, U.C. Davis in New Testament, and the Graduate Theological Union. He then became a key leader and instructor for adult education Bible classes at Fairhaven Bible Chapel.

Dr. Hildenbrand is a member of The Evangelical Theological Society. He published Structure and Theology in the Holiness Code, Bibal Press (2004) and has been published in Eerdman’s Dictionary of the Bible, Interest, Crux, and presented at the 1992 annual Western Region and National Meetings of the Society of Biblical Literature and at the Dominican School of Philosophy and Theology. He also was invited to present on a panel at the National Meeting of the Society of Biblical Literature in 2012.  He is familiar in the following languages: Hebrew (biblical, rabbinic, modern), Aramaic (biblical, Qumran), Northwest Semitic Inscriptions (Phoenician, Moabite, etc.), Ugaritic, Akkadian, Greek (NT and LXX), French, and German.
