Assistant Coach

Assistant Coach: Jeremiah McDuffie

Jeremiah McDuffie has been the assistant cross-country coach at TFC since 2009; this will also be his fourth season running for TFC. Jeremiah has an additional three years of high school coaching experience, from 2002-2004, and helped lead the 2004 team to third-place finish at the state meet. As an older runner, with coaching experience, Jeremiah has been able to relate to the runners in a different way and is a key leader within the team.

Jeremiah is an asset in the scheduling and implementation of workouts, and he also heads up all the teams’ fundraising efforts. Jeremiah is a senior majoring in Biblical Studies and an ordained minister. After graduation Jeremiah plans on pastoring and pursuing a master’s degree. Jeremiah has been married to Stacy McDuffie for nine years and they have an eight-year old daughter, Aurora Rose, and are expecting another child in January 2013. Jeremiah believes that both the men and women’s teams of 2012 could be the best TFC has ever fielded if they reach their potential.
