Toccoa Falls baseball and head coach Nate Bowen are pleased to announce the addition of DJ Davis for the 2016-2017 season. Davis is a senior infielder at Commerce High School in Commerce, Georgia. For the 2015 season, Davis was named Honorable Mention Infield by the Athens Banner Herald. He also was named Honorable Mention All-Region in his junior campaign in which he hit .326 and started at second base for Commerce’s Elite 8 playoff team.

Davis claims Deut. 31:6 as his favorite verse: Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the LORD your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.

Daven Hall, a senior centerfielder from Loganville Christian Academy, has added his name to the growing list of baseball commitments under first year head coach Nate Bowen.

As a junior at LCA, Hall hit .385 with a .431 on base percentage. He was named to the GISA All-Region team as well as LCA’s Defensive Player of the Year. LCA’s Athletic Director Andre King said told, “He is a great young man – a very coachable young man who had been a great addition to our program here… Daven came to us in his junior year and has been a great addition to the program both on and off the field. He has also played with some travel teams and done well with them too,”

Hall, a switch hitter, also is the starting point guard for LCA’s basketball team that made it to the Final Four a year ago. In his free time, Hall enjoys golf, swimming, and music. He is also active in his church youth group. Hall plans to major in Sports Management at Toccoa Falls.
