Men’s Soccer adds Darian Bowen

The TFC men’s soccer program and head coach Rob Worsley have announced the addition of Darian Bowen to the program.

Darian Bowen is an outside back from Dallas, Georgia, and will graduate from East Paulding High School in May. At East Paulding, Bowen played for Coach Bernard Cordial, and was named to the All-County team on three occasions, was twice named his team’s best defender, was a four year letterman, and a two-year captain. Darian was voted to the second team all-region his senior year. Darian also ran for East Paulding’s cross country team, and was the team’s captain for two years.

In addition to his time with EPHS, Darian starred for the Southern Soccer Academy (Classic 1) in Atlanta. Bowen played under Coach Franklin Young at SSA.

Coach Worsley said of Bowen, “We are excited about Darian joining our 2014 roster. He is a very skilled player with a strong work ethic and good soccer intelligence. He plays a style of soccer that compliments our vision for TFC soccer and he has to potential to be an immediate contributor.”

Darian is the son of Melinda and Richard Bowen, and plans to major in Business Administration. The Bowens attend New Hope First Baptist Church.
