Adjunct Economics Professor

The Business Administration Department at Toccoa Falls College welcomes applications for an adjunct Economics professor position, beginning in fall 2013. Toccoa Falls College is an evangelical, independent, and interdenominational college, affiliated with the Christian and Missionary Alliance denomination. It seeks to maintain the biblical emphasis of a Christian college while offering a broad range of professional studies of a liberal arts college.

Responsibilities: Primary responsibilities include teaching undergraduate micro and/or macroeconomics courses. Toccoa Falls College faculty are expected to be excellent teachers, active in service to the community, able to foster an ethos of vocation through curricular and co-curricular activities, and able to model the integration of faith and learning.

Education: Minimum qualifications include a master’s degree in Economics. An earned doctorate is preferred. Experience: Significant experience in the field of economics is recommended and college teaching experience is preferred.

Character: The candidate must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and evidence a mature Christian faith, be in agreement with the college’s statement of faith and social life statements, be committed to the integration of biblical principles and be willing to invest oneself in the development of undergraduate students.
