Financial aid counselors work closely with students and their parents to help them navigate the financial aid process. Toccoa Falls College offers the following forms of financial aid:
Federal Aid: PELL Grant, Federal Loans and Federal Work Study are three forms of Federal Aid for which a student may be eligible. Eligibility is based on the results of the student’s Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This application utilizes the student’s and parents’ tax information (unless exempt) to determine the student’s financial need.
State Aid: Helping Outstanding Pupils Educationally (HOPE) and the Georgia Tuition Equalization Grant (GTEG) are two scholarships awarded to eligible Georgia residents that attend an approved college or university in Georgia.
Institutional Aid: TFC has 5 levels of Academic scholarships for Freshmen and 5 levels of Academic scholarships for Transfers. Once a FAFSA is received, students may be eligible for an additional institutional scholarship called, TFC Assist.
Other Grants: The college offers a Church Matching Grant, up to $1,500. The church must send a check to TFC before we can add the institutional scholarship to the account.
Outside Scholarships: Outside Scholarships are designed to give local civic organizations, businesses, individuals and other scholarship organizations the opportunity to invest in the life of students as they attend Toccoa Falls College. Outside Scholarships are available to all enrolled students of Toccoa Falls College during the fall and spring semesters. Sites to consider are:
