Chair, Music Department; Assistant Professor of Music EducationÂ
Professor Stufft joined the Toccoa Falls College faculty in 1985. He has served as a Minister of Youth and Music at Tallmadge Alliance Fellowship in Ohio, Pastor at Warrendale Alliance Church in Pennsylvania, and high school Band Director at Meyersdale High School. In addition to being the Chair of the Music Department, Stufft is also the conductor of the Toccoa Symphony Orchestra, which is a community symphony partially funded by a grant for the Arts. He has also served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era.
Professor Stufft is a member of organizations such as Georgia Music Educators Association (GMEA), Christian Instrumental Directors Association (CIDA), Who’s Who in American Education, and others. He has published various articles in the Music Educators Journal and composed and premiered The River, an orchestration for symphony orchestra in 1997, and premiered four original works and several arrangements and orchestrations for orchestra with the Toccoa Symphony Orchestra. He is currently under contract to produce a book manuscript with accompanying CD for Linus Publishing Inc. on the topic of Preparing to Take the Praxis II and other state certification tests in music education.
