Call For Papers

A goal of this conference is to provide Evangelicals, particularly undergraduate and graduate students, an opportunity to present a formal paper at an academic conference. However, this Call For Papers will be conducted in a competitive manner. Those who wish to present need to send an email to conference@tfc.edu. This email should contain the words “Call For Papers” in the subject heading and have an attached Word .doc containing the following information: 

1. Your Name
2. Your educational background, including the institution at which you’re currently enrolled as well as any degrees you presently hold (if applicable).
3. Do you consider yourself an “evangelical Protestant”?  (Y/N)
4. Title of your paper
5. An abstract of no more than one page (12-point, Times New Roman font). This abstract should clearly state how this subject is related to the conference’s theme of “American Evangelicalism: Then & Now.”

Papers abstracts that fail to meet these criteria will not be accepted. 

The deadline for submissions is 12:00 AM, January 1, 2009. All papers will be brought before a committee to determine which papers are accepted. All applicants will receive a follow-up email by January 15, 2009 with the committee’s decision.
