American Evangelicalism Conference: Call for Papers
Call For Papers
A goal of this conference is to provide Evangelicals, particularly undergraduate and graduate students, an opportunity to present a formal paper at an academic conference. However, this Call For Papers will be conducted in a competitive manner. Those who wish to present need to send an email to conference@tfc.edu. This email should contain the words “Call For Papers” in the subject heading and have an attached Word .doc containing the following information:
- Your Name
- Your educational background, including the institution at which you’re currently enrolled as well as any degrees you presently hold (if applicable).
- Do you consider yourself an “evangelical Protestant”? (Y/N)
- Title of your paper
- An abstract of no more than one page (12-point, Times New Roman font). This abstract should clearly state how this subject is related to the conference’s theme of “American Evangelicalism: Then & Now.”
Papers abstracts that fail to meet these criteria will not be accepted.
The deadline for submissions is 12:00 AM, January 1, 2009. All papers will be brought before a committee to determine which papers are accepted. All applicants will receive a follow-up email by January 15, 2009 with the committee’s decision.
