Why select a major in Bible and Theology Department?
Our full-time professors all have earned Ph.D. degrees, and our part-time professors all have either earned doctorates or master’s degrees. Equally important are their spiritual qualifications. All give unwavering allegiance to such historic Christian doctrines as the inerrancy and full authority of Scripture, and Christ’s unique deity, substitutionary atonement, bodily resurrection, and literal return. Within the conservative, evangelical spectrum, you will find in our department an excellent balance of theological viewpoints represented in the different backgrounds of our professors. A number of our professors have had pastoral experience as well.
