Lady Eagles Lose to Lagrange College (9/2)
The Lady Eagles women’s soccer team lost to NCAA Div. III opponent Lagrange College last night by the score of 5-0. Although the score does not reflect it, the Lady Eagles did have several scoring opportunities throughout the game. The Lady Eagles will return to the field on September 7 when they travel to Demorest, GA to face Piedmont College at 7:00 p.m.
Lady Eagles Shutout Johnson University (8/29)
The Lady Eagles women’s soccer team got their second win of the season beating Johnson University this past Saturday by the score of 5-0. Breanna Schultz led the Lady Eagles scoring attack with two goals, Kallie Richards had one goal and two assists, Danae Martin one goal (PK) and one assist, and Abbie Eckman scored the final goal. The Lady Eagles next match will be Thursday September 1 at 7:00 p.m. against Lagrange College.
Lady Eagles Win Season/Home Opener (8/27)
The Toccoa Falls College women’s team won their opening game of the season at home against Tennessee Temple University by the score of 1-0. After a scoreless first half, Kallie Richards scored her first goal of the season breaking the 0-0 tie and giving the Lady Eagles the lead. The Lady Eagles played a very good defensive game allowing only four shots on goal. The Lady Eagles will be back in action today when they take on Johnson University at 3:00 p.m.

Lady Eagles Complete Season at NCCAA National Tournament (11/14)
The Toccoa Falls College women’s soccer team finished their season at the NCCAA National Tournament dropping matches to Kentucky Christian University 2-3 and Atlanta Christian College 1-1 (3-4 in PKS). In the KCU match Kallie Richards scored both goals off assists from Danae Martin. In the ACC match Richards again scored for the Lady Eagles with the assist coming from Siara Stacey. Scoring PKS for the Lady Eagles were Richards, Lauren Howell, and Anna Long. Although the Lady Eagles did not do as well as they had hoped at nationals, they still accomplished their main goal of the season winning their first ever NCCAA South Region Championship. Congratulations Lady Eagles on an outstanding season!
Lady Eagles Lose in First Round of NCCAA National Tournament (11/11)
The Toccoa Falls College women’s soccer team lost to the defending National Champion Manhattan Christian College in the first round of the NCCAA National Tournament by the score of 1-4. The Lady Eagles entered the tournament as the #5 seed and MCC the #4 seed. The Lady Eagles were down at halftime 0-1 and then early in the second half MCC made it 2-0. With 29 minutes left in the game the Lady Eagles scored when Lauren Howell put in a shot off of a direct kick by Danae Martin. The Lady Eagles fought hard to even the score however with less than four minutes left MCC put in two more quick goals. The Lady Eagles can still finish as high as fifth place but it will take a win today over Kentucky Christian University. Today’s game will take place at 5:00.
Lady Eagles Win NCCAA South Region Championship (10/30)
The Toccoa Falls College women’s soccer team won its first ever Region Championship tonight defeating Clearwater Christian College by the score of 2-1. Clearwater scored the first goal of the match less than four minutes into the game. The Lady Eagles would have some good chances in the first half but could not tie the game before halftime. The start of the second half would be different as the Lady Eagles scored in the first two minutes on a goal by Kallie Richards assisted by Danae Martin. Then about a minute later Martin scored on an assist by Richards giving the Lady Eagles the 2-1 lead and ultimately the win. Four Lady Eagles were also named First Team All Region, Lauren Howell, Cory Buterbaugh, Anna Long, and Danae Martin. The Lady Eagles will travel to Kissimmee, FL to compete in the NCCAA National Tournament November 10-13. Congratulations Lady Eagles!
Lady Eagles Advance to South Region Championship Game (10/28)
The Toccoa Falls College women’s soccer team battled Atlanta Christian to a 0-0 tie after ninety minutes of regulation and two overtime periods. Just like the men on Wednesday night, the game came down to penalty kicks. The Lady Eagles managed to win that battle by a 3-2 count with Anna Long, Callie Richards and Ashley Ziegler each putting one in the back of the net. The Lady Eagles will now play Clearwater Christian College for the NCCAA South Region Championship on Saturday October 30 at 5:00 p.m.
Lady Eagles Battle to a 2-2 Tie (10/25)
The Toccoa Falls College women’s soccer team finished off the regular season with a 2-2 tie against Kentucky Christian University. KCU scored first on a penalty kick when the Lady Eagles were called for a handball in the box. The Lady Eagles were able to tie the game just before the half when Danae Martin scored on an assist from Lauren Howell. In the second half the Lady Eagles would take the lead when Callie Richards was taken down in the box and Martin put in the penalty kick. Then with seconds remaining KCU scored the tying goal on a direct kick from just outside the eighteen. The Lady Eagles will now host Atlanta Christian College in the first round of the NCCAA South Region Tournament. The game will be Thursday October 28 at 7:00 p.m.
Lady Eagles Shutout by Piedmont College (10/20)
The Toccoa Falls College women’s soccer team was shutout by Piedmont College by the score of 9-0. Piedmont scored five goals in the first half and four in the second. The Lady Eagles will travel to Kentucky Christian University for their final regular season match on Saturday October 23 at 1:00.
Lady Eagles Shutout Clark Atlanta (10/19)
The Toccoa Falls College women’s soccer team shutout Clark Atlanta University this past Saturday by the score of 6-0. The Lady Eagles scored early and often against CAU with Callie Richards scoring the first goal of the game off an assist from Danae Martin. Siara Stacey had two goals on the day and Martin, Anna Long, and Cory Buterbaugh each had one. Martin had two other assists along with Kaelyn Watson, Long, and Stacey. The Lady Eagles will host Piedmont College for their next match on Wednesday October 20 at 7:00 p.m.
Lady Eagles Battle Atlanta Christian to 0-0 Tie (10/14)
The Toccoa Falls College women’s soccer team tied with South Region opponent Atlanta Christian College 0-0 in overtime this past Tuesday night. The Lady Eagles did have one shot hit the crossbar from a direct kick by Cory Buterbaugh. The Lady Eagles will travel to Clark Atlanta University for their next match on Saturday October 16 at 2:00 p.m.
Lady Eagles Win Two of Three Games This Past Week (10/11)
The Toccoa Falls College women’s soccer team defeated Wesleyan College 1-0, lost to Truett McConnell College 8-0, and beat Ohio Christian University 3-0 this past week. The win against OCU came during Homecoming Weekend. Siara Stacey scored the goal against Wesleyan College with less than ten minutes to go in the game. Danae Martin was credited with the assist. In the game against OCU, Breanna Schultz scored two goals and Callie Richards scored the third off of a direct kick just outside the box. The Lady Eagles host a very important South Region match against Atlanta Christian College on Tuesday October 12 at 5:00 p.m.
Lady Eagles Shutout in Florida (10/4)
The Toccoa Falls College women’s soccer team was unable to score on its Florida trip and came home with two losses to Clearwater Christian College and Florida College. The Lady Eagles loss to CCC 2-0 and to FC 3-0. The Lady Eagles will try to get back on track when they host Wesleyan College on Tuesday October 5 at 7:00 p.m.
Lady Eagles Win Big Over Johnson Bible College (9/29)
The Toccoa Falls College women’s soccer team beat Johnson Bible College for the second time this season by the score of 7-1. The Lady Eagles scored all of their goals in the first half with Anna Long scoring the first goal on a nice header from a cross by Danae Martin. Breanna Schultz scored two goals and then Martin, Kaelyn Watson, Esther Weatherstone, and Rachel Berry each scored one. The Lady Eagles travel to Florida for the weekend to play Clearwater Christian College and Florida College.
Lady Eagles Split a Pair of Games Over the Weekend (9/27)
The Toccoa Falls College women’s soccer team was defeated by Florida College this past Friday by the score of 7-1. The lone goal for the Lady Eagles was scored by Breanna Schultz and assisted by Kallie Richards. On Saturday the Lady Eagles came out strong and got their first shutout of the season defeating Kentucky Christian University 4-0. Anna Long got the first goal of the game off of an assist by Danae Martin. Martin then made the score 2-0 on an assist by Breanna Schultz. In the second half Starry Bone and Richards scored goals on assists by Esther Weatherstone and Catherine Boderud. The Lady Eagles next match will be Tuesday September 28 when they host Johnson Bible College at 3:00 p.m.
Lady Eagles Fall To Atlanta Christian College (9/17)
The Toccoa Falls College women’s soccer team lost to South Region rival Atlanta Christian College by the score of 3-1. The Lady Eagles were down 1-0 at halftime and then ACC opened up the second half with two quick goals to go up 3-0. The Lady Eagles finally scored off of a direct kick from Callie Richards with under 20 minutes to play. The Lady Eagles continued to play hard and had several more chances but were unable to sustain the comeback. The next match for the Lady Eagles will be Friday September 24 when they host Florida College at 5:00 p.m.
Lady Eagles Dominated by Faulkner University (9/13)
The Toccoa Falls College women’s soccer team played probably the best team on their schedule tonight in Faulkner University and lost by the score of 10-0. Faulkner scored early and often and was just too much for the Lady Eagles. The Lady Eagles will try to get back on track when they face South Region rival Atlanta Christian College in Atlanta on Thursday September 16 at 5:30 p.m.
Lady Eagles Defeat Region Rival Clearwater Christian College (9/12)
The Toccoa Falls College women’s soccer team defeated Clearwater Christain College 2-1 this past Friday night in a South Region match-up. The Lady Eagles scored first when Danae Martin put in a free kick from just outside the top right corner of the goalie box. Callie Richards scored the second goal before the first half ended. Clearwater scored their only goal of the contest with about 20 minutes remaining in the game and had a couple of good opportunities to tie the game but excellent goalie play by Catherine Borderud secured the win. The Lady Eagles will play Faulkner University at home on Monday September 13.
Lady Eagles Get First Win (9/7)
The Toccoa Falls College women’s soccer team got their first win of the season by defeating Johnson Bible College of Knoxville, TN 6-2. The Lady Eagles got two early goals by Callie Richards and Danae Martin. Johnson Bible then scored to close the lead to 2-1. The Lady Eagles responded with two more goals before the first half ended from Kaelyn Watson and Martin. Scoring in the second half were Siara Stacey and Richards. Martin led the Lady Eagles with two assists and Anna Long, Breanna Schultz, Stacey, and Richards had one each. The Lady Eagles have their first South Region match at home on Friday September 10 at 5:00 p.m. against Clearwater Christian College.
Lady Eagles Defeated by Lagrange College (9/3)
The Toccoa Falls College women’s soccer team lost to Lagrange College last night by the score of 4-1. Lagrange scored the first two goals of the contest before Danae Martin put the Lady Eagles on the scoreboard with her first goal of the season. Down 2-1 at halftime the Lady Eagles were hopeful for a second half comeback. Although they had several chances the Lady Eagles failed to find the back of the net and Lagrange was able to convert two more goals in the second half. The Lady Eagles will travel to Johnson Bible on September 6 and play them at 4:00.
Lady Eagles Fall to Bryan College in Season Opener (8/28)
The Toccoa Falls College women’s soccer team lost their opening game of the season to Bryan College 5-0. The Lady Eagles played a very good first half of soccer holding the Lions scoreless. This would not last in the second half however as the Lions put in three quick goals in the first 12 minutes. They would score two more before the end of the game, the last one coming with only 14 seconds left. The Lady Eagles next match will be at Lagrange College on September 2 at 7:00 p.m.
