Women’s Basketball

2011

Tryouts are over for women’s basketball and the 2011-12 Lady Eagle team is beginning to come together through a tough time of conditioning.

Leading the team this season are junior Co-Captains Amanda Ferrell and Angela Little. Ferrell led the Lady Eagles in rebounding last season with 10.4 per game. Although much is expected from both of them, they will receive a lot of support from returning players: Kim Crapse, Callie Moore, and rebecca Weatherbee. Weatherbee was the leading scorer last season with a 12.5 average.

New to the team this year are a junior transfer, Quimby Handy, and freshmen, Ashley Britt, Katie Calloway, Stephanie Clements, Maddy Moody, Esther Shady, Alexandra Wallace, and Emily Wiegand.

With the season about to start, there is much excitement at Toccoa Falls about the opportunities and possibilities that this young team will have in the N.C.C.A.A.

We encourage you to follow and support this team as we feel that you are vital to their success.
