Eagles Defeat Johnson University (9/8)
The Toccoa Falls College men’s soccer team defeated Johnson University for the second time this season by the score of 5-1. Johnson struck first scoring ten minutes into the contest, however, the Eagles then responded with five unanswered goals the rest of the way. Scoring goals for the Eagles were: Logan Ferrell, Josh Gailer (PK), Tyler Timberlake, Eric Bill, and Michael Howell. The Eagles will be back in action on Saturday September 10 at 3:00 when they travel to Lagrange College.
Eagles Shutout by Freed Hardeman University (9/3)
The Toccoa Falls College men’s soccer team lost for the first time this season as FHU shut them out last night by the score of 5-0. The Eagles played even with FHU for 25 minutes when FHU scored their first goal, they would put in three more before the half ended. The Eagles had 3 shots to FHU’s 19. The Eagles will try to bounce from the loss today as they take on Johnson University for the second time this season at 1:00 p.m (CST). The Eagles won the first meeting 4-1.
Eagles Down Johnson University 4-1 (8/29)
The Toccoa Falls College men’s soccer team got their second win of the season defeating Johnson University this past Saturday 4-1. Johnson scored the first goal of the contest and then the Eagles quickly answered with a goal by Josh Gailer. Moments later the Eagles were awarded a penalty kick and David Brown put it in the back of the net. The final two goals were scored by Logan Ferrell and Eric Bill. The Eagles will travel to Henderson, TN this weekend to play Freed Hardman on Friday September 2 at 7:00 p.m. and then Johnson University again on Saturday September 3 at 1:00 p.m.
Eagles Start Season Off With Win at Home (8/27)
The Toccoa Falls College men’s soccer team won their opening game of the season at home defeating Tennessee Temple University by the score of 2-1. The Eagles got on the board early scoring in the first four minutes of the game with a goal from Eric Bill. TTU would eventually tie the game at 1-1 before the end of the first half. In the second half Tyler Timberlake score the game winning goal catching the keeper off his line. The Eagles will play again today at home when they face off with Johnson University at 5:00 p.m.

Eagles Fall Short in Championship Game (10/30)
The Toccoa Falls College men’s soccer team lost in the NCCAA South Region Championship game to Clearwater Christian College by the score of 2-0. Clearwater scored its first goal on a penalty kick eight minutes into the game and then with around seven minutes to go in the half they scored their second. The Eagles battled to the very end creating some good opportunities but unfortunately could not get any past Clearwater’s keeper. The Eagles showed much improvement from the first time they played CCC back in early September. The Eagles placed two players on Second Team All Region, David Brown and Noah Smith, and four players on First Team All Region, Tyler Timberlake, Eric Bill, Alex Kerr, and Travis Julian. Congratulations Eagles!
NCCAA South Region Championship Game Moved to TFC (10/28)
The Toccoa Falls College men’s soccer team will now host the South Region Championship game. The Eagles will be playing Clearwater Christian College on Saturday October 30 at 7:30 p.m.
Eagles Advance to South Region Championship (10/27)
The Toccoa Falls College men’s soccer team defeated Atlanta Christian College today to advance to the NCCAA South Region Championship game. The two teams battled to a 0-0 tie after 90 minutes of regulation play and two overtime periods. It was then to be settled by penalty kicks. All five of the Eagles put in their penalty kicks (Philip Stice, Tyler Timberlake, Dustin Howell, David Brown, and Eric Bill. Travis Julian stopped one of ACC’s kicks and that was the difference. The Eagles will now face Clearwater Christian College in the championship game on Saturday October 30 at 12:00.
Eagles Finish Regular Season (10/25)
The Toccoa Falls College men’s soccer team finished its regular season this past Saturday with a loss to Lagrange College by the score of 1-0. The match looked like it was headed to overtime when the Eagles were called for a handball in the box with 3:45 remaining in the game. Lagrange then took advantage of the penalty kick scoring the only goal of the match. The Eagles will now travel to Atlanta Christian College for the first round of the NCCAA South Region Tournament on Wednesday October 27 to play ACC in a 3:30 match.
Eagles Defeat Crown College and Johnson Bible (10/19)
The Toccoa Falls College men’s soccer team won two games on the road this past weekend. On Friday they traveled to The Crown College and won 2-1 in overtime. Peter Yang scored the first goal for the Eagles off an assist from Eric Hankin and then in overtime David Brown headed in the winning goal of an assist from Philip Stice. On Monday the Eagles traveled to Johnson Bible College and won 2-1 as well. Tyler Timberlake scored both goals for the Eagles with the last won coming with less than four minutes to play. The Eagles will play their final regular season match this coming Saturday October 23 when they host Lagrange College at 3:00 p.m.
Eagles Lose to Atlanta Christian College (10/14)
The Toccoa Falls College men’s soccer team lost to South Region opponent Atlanta Christian College 3-2 this past Tuesday night. The Eagles were down 2-0 when Eric Bill scored off an assist from Tyler Timberlake. ACC went up 3-1 in the second half and then after a red card was issued to an ACC player, TFC found the back of the net on a goal by Timberlake assisted by Noah Smith. The Eagles would have a couple more opportunities but were unable to tie it up before the horn sounded. The Eagles will travel to The Crown College on Friday October 15 for a 4:00 match.
Eagles Split a Pair Games This Past Week (10/11)
The Toccoa Falls College men’s soccer team lost to Truett McConnell College 7-0 and then defeated Warren Wilson College 1-0 in overtime during Homecoming Weekend. Tyler Timberlake scored the lone goal for the Eagles in the eighth minute of overtime. The Eagles next match will be when they host South Region opponent Atlanta Christian College on Tuesday October 12 at 7:00 p.m.
Eagles Lose Two in Florida (10/4)
The Toccoa Falls College men’s soccer team was unable to come away with a win on their Florida trip losing to Clearwater Christian College 5-0 and to Florida College 3-1. Tyler Timberlake scored the lone goal for the two games. The Eagles will travel to Truett McConnell College for their next match on Thursday October 7 at 4:00 p.m.
Eagles Victorious Over Johnson Bible College (9/29)
The Toccoa Falls College men’s soccer team shutout Johnson Bible College last night by the score of 3-0. David Brown scored the first goal for the Eagles off a corner kick by Peter Yang. Alex Kerr and Tyler Timberlake scored the two other goals for the Eagles. Travis Julian had an exceptional game in goal preserving the shutout. The Eagles travel to Florida for the weekend to play Clearwater Christian College and Florida College.
Eagles Downed by Florida College (9/27)
The Toccoa Falls College men’s soccer team lost to Florida College this past Friday night by the score of 2-4. The two goals for the Eagles were scored by Eric Bill and Eric Hankin. Bill’s goal came in the first half on a direct kick from just outside the top of the eighteen. Hankin’s unassisted goal came in the second half. The Eagles will try and get their second win of the season when they host Johnson Bible College on Tuesday September 28 at 5:00 p.m.
Eagles Battle Faulkner University to a Scoreless Tie (9/23)
The Toccoa Falls College men’s soccer team played its best defensive game of the season keeping all of Faulkner University’s shots out of the net. The Eagles were also unable to score, however, Eric Hankin just missed on opportunity with less than ten minutes to go in the game. The Eagles will be back in action on Friday September 24 at 7:00 when they host Florida College.
Eagles Get First Win of the Season (9/20)
The Toccoa Falls Eagles men’s soccer team won its first game of the season this past Saturday by defeating The Crown College 4-2. The Eagles scored early with a goal from Tyler Timberlake and then a few minutes later Loren Ellenberger made the score 2-0. The Crown College was able to score a goal before the half ended. In the second half Timberlake added two more goals giving him a hat trick on the day and sealing the victory for the Eagles. Philip Stice, Peter Yang, and Eric Hankin each had an assist for the Eagles. The Eagles will host Faulkner University on Wednesday September 22 at 6:00 p.m.
Eagles Fall to South Region Opponent Atlanta Christian College (9/14)
The Toccoa Falls College men’s soccer team lost to Atlanta Christian College last night by the score of 3-0. ACC was ahead at halftime 1-0 and then found the back of the net two more times in the second half. Coach Worsley felt the Eagles played well but were just not able to finish. The Eagles will try to get their first win of the season when they host The Crown College from Powell, TN on Saturday September 18 at 1:00 p.m.
Eagles Lose to NCCAA Defending National Champions (9/13)
The Toccoa Falls College men’s soccer team lost their fourth game in a row on the season to Clearwater Christian College. Clearwater is the defending NCCAA National Champion and returned most of their players from that team. The Eagles lost the match by the final score of 6-0. Next up for the Eagles will be South Region rival Atlanta Christian College on Tuesday September 14 at 5:30 p.m. in Atlanta.
Eagles Dominated by Emmanuel College (9/8)
The Falls College men’s soccer team lost their third game in a row on the season to Emmanuel College by the score of 9-1. Emmanuel scored early and often getting their first goal of the game in the first 16 seconds. The highlight of the contest was Loren Ellenberger scoring the Eagles first goal of the season. The Eagles will finally face an NCCAA Division II opponent when they take on the defending National Champion Clearwater Christian College on Friday September 10 at 7:00 p.m. at home.
Eagles Fall to Piedmont College in Home Opener (9/6)
The Toccoa Falls College men’s soccer team lost their home opener to Piedmont College of Demorest, GA by the score of 6-0. Piedmont scored their first goal less than three minutes into the contest and never looked back. The Eagles did have some opportunities but were unable to find the back of the net. The Eagles will be back in action at home on Tuesday September 7 at 7:00 p.m. against Emmanuel College.
Eagles Drop Season Opener to North Greenville University (9/3)
The Toccoa Falls College men’s soccer team lost their first game of the season to North Greenville University by the score of 3-0. North Greenville scored one goal in the first half and two more in the second. The Eagles still played well considering they were up against an NCAA Division II opponent. The Eagles will play their first home match of the season Saturday September 4 at 7:00 p.m. against Piedmont College.
Eagles Will Begin Season at North Greenville University (8/30)
The Toccoa Falls College men’s soccer team will open their season at North Greenville University on September 2 at 5:00. North Greenville is a member of the NCAA Division II and will be a tough opponent. The Eagles will play their first match at home on Saturday September 4 at 7:00 against Piedmont College.
