Eagles Finish Second at NCCAA Div. II Nationals (11/15)
The Toccoa Falls College men’s cross country team finished second out of nine teams at the NCCAA Div. II National Cross Country meet held at Cedarville University. The only team the Eagles were unable to get ahead of was North Central University. It was the best performance of the season for the Eagles as they finished with an average time of 29:54, their first finish under 30:00. Jordan Lang finished ninth overall and led the Eagle runners with a time of 29:05. The next four runners for the Eagles were Ben Pigott 29:33, Jeremiah McDuffie 29:48, Ian Craven 29:55, and Adam Bowden 31:07.The Eagles will return all runners for next season and they are encouraged about the potential for 2011. Congratulations Eagles on a great season!

Eagles Finish First at KCC Late Knights Run (11/4)
The Toccoa Falls College men’s cross country team finished first out of five teams at the Kentucky Christian University Late Knights Run. The other teams competing were Indiana University East, Cincinnati Christian University, West Virginia Tech, and KCU. Ben Pigott finished third overall and led the Eagle runners with a time of 29:26. The next four runners for the Eagles were Jordan Lang 30:05, Jeremiah McDuffie 30:20, Ian Craven 31:00, and Adam Bowden 31:53. The next meet for the Eagles will be Nationals at Cedarville University on Saturday, November 13.

Eagles Finish Third at Oglethorpe Invitational (10/19)
The Toccoa Falls College men’s cross country team finished third out of eight teams at the Oglethorpe University Invitational. Truett McConnell College and Chattahoochee Tech finished ahead of the Eagles. The Eagles finished ahead of Tennessee Wesleyan, South Georgia, Clark Atlanta, Gordon, and Lagrange. Ben Pigott finished ninth overall and led the Eagle runners with a time of 30:07. The next four runners for the Eagles were Jordan Lang, Jeremiah McDuffie, Ian Craven, and Adam Bowden. The next meet for the Eagles will be October 30 when they Travel to Kentucky Christian University.

Eagles Finish Third at Eagle Invitational (10/14)
The Toccoa Falls College men’s cross country team finished third out of five teams at the Eagle Invitational which they hosted. The other four teams were Truett McConnell (1st), Southern Wesleyan (2nd), Maryville (4th), and Johnson Bible (5th). The Eagles were only seven points behind SWU. Ben Pigott led the Eagle runners with a time of 30:27 with Jordan Lang finishing one second behind him. The next three runners for the Eagles were Ian Craven, Jeremiah McDuffie, and Adam Bowden. The next meet for the Eagles will be the Oglethorpe Invitational on Saturday October 16 at 9:45 a.m.

Eagles Finish Third at Southern Wesleyan Invitational (9/27)
The Toccoa Falls College men’s cross country team finished third out of four teams at the Southern Wesleyan Invitational. The four teams were TFC, SWU, Truett McConnell, and Belhaven. The Eagles finished ahead of Belhaven and just behind SWU. Jordan Lang led the Eagle runners with a time of 30:41 and finished fifth overall. The next four runners for the Eagles were Ian Craven, Ben Pigott Jeremiah McDuffie, and Joshua Spangler. The Eagles will host their next meet on Friday October 8 at 4:30 p.m.

Eagles Finish First at Johnson Bible Invitational (9/13)
The Toccoa Falls College men’s cross country team finished in first place at the Johnson Bible Invitational. Teams competing in the meet were TFC, Johnson Bible College, Kentucky Christian University, and Maryville College. Ben Pigott led the Eagles runners and finished second overall. Jordan Lang finished third, Ian Craven fourth, Jeremiah McDuffie fifth, and Adam Bowden ninth. The Eagles next meet will be the Southern Wesleyan Invitational on Saturday September 25 at 10:00 a.m.

Cross Country Teams Will Open Season at the Eye Opener Invitational (8/30)
The Toccoa Falls College men’s cross country team will begin their season in Spartanburg, SC competing in the Eye Opener Invitational on Septermber 4, 2010. There will around 20-25 colleges and universities that the Eagles will face in this event. The main goal of this event will be to see how the Eagles compare with the other non-scholarship teams in the event.
