TFC Professor Presents at World Piano Conference
Toccoa Falls, GA -- Dr. You Ju Lee presented at the World Piano Conference, May 4-8, 2009, in Novi Sad, Serbia. Hosted by the European Piano Teachers Association, the conference brings together outstanding pianists, teachers, and piano enthusiasts from around the world. Dr. Lee’s presentation highlighted the contributions of American composer, Marga Richter, whose works have been performed by numerous orchestras including the London Philharmonic Orchestra and the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.
Dr. You Ju Lee is an accomplished pianist who has won numerous awards and has performed recitals in Europe, Asia, and the United States. She performed at the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts in Seoul, Korea, on June 9, 2005. On April 23, 2006, she gave her New York Debut Recital at Weill Hall in Carnegie Hall in the Special Presentation Winners Series sponsored by Artists International. In July 2006 she performed recitals in Sicily and Germany; and in January 2007 she gave a guest performance in Paris, France. In March 2007 she performed with the Toccoa Symphony Orchestra. In April 2008 she was an invited guest performer at Bella Musical Concert at Agnes Scott College in Atlanta.
Dr. Lee is currently teaching at Toccoa Falls College as an Assistant Professor of Piano.
