I came to Toccoa Falls in 2002 from Sao Paulo, Brazil, to fulfill a long-time dream, which was to study Teacher Education in America. During my junior year I didn’t have enough money for tuition so I packed to return to Brazil, but before I left, the president called me into his office and told me I had been awarded a scholarship. I finished that school year with a $0.00 balance!
In my senior year I remember reflecting on God’s faithfulness and also being grateful for my professors and how they helped me be the best I could be. Without a doubt, the time I spent at TFC equipped me for what I’m doing today. I’m fulfilling my dream! I’m an elementary school teacher and enjoying every minute of it.
