The Eagles only managed five hits off Florida Christian pitching but they turned them into five runs. With two outs in the bottom of the 1st inning, Corey Warner doubled and then scored on a Zach Warner single to left field. The next batter, Jordan Couillard, drove in Zach Warner with another single to left to put the Eagles up 2-0.
Josh Ward led off the bottom of the 5th with a walk. Justin Key then singled up the middle. Corey Warner moved the runners up with a ground out, then Zach Warner was intentionally walked to load the bases for Jordan Couillard, who hit a ground ball to second that was mishandled.
