Associate Professor of Teacher Education

Dr. Frederick joined the Toccoa Falls College faculty in 1990. Before coming to TFC, she taught numerous years in Quito, Ecuador and Florida. She has been a member of many education committees here in the States as well as abroad. She is currently a member of the Christian College Teacher Education Coordinating Committee, Council of Exceptional Children, International Reading Association, Council for Teachers of English, and Toccoa-Stephens County Literacy Council. She has been published in the ACSI Christian School Ed. Journal, ACSI World Report Journal, and Interaction Magazine.

After spending 18 years as a missionary teacher in Ecuador, it was exciting to come to TFC and help start the overseas student teaching program. Through this, we now have numerous graduates teaching in both international and mission schools throughout the world.

“Being confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ” (Philippians 1:6).
