Alisa Thomas has been named the chair of the Humanities and Natural Sciences department at Toccoa Falls College. She received her B.A. with a double major in American Studies and English with a minor in History from Georgetown College and received her M.A. in English from the University of Louisville.
Before coming to TFC, Alisa worked as a graduate teaching assistant in English at the University of Louisville, served as a lead teacher and English chairperson at the Christian Academy in Louisville, Kentucky where she taught middle school English, and has served several years as a Sunday school teacher at Lakewood Baptist Church.
Alisa joined the TFC faculty in 2000 as an assistant professor of English and is now completing her eleventh year at TFC.
