Toccoa Falls College’s volleyball team traveled to Spartanburg Methodist College in Spartanburg, South Carolina, on Tuesday night. The Lady Pioneers of SMC (12-7) are a junior college and are members of the NJCAA conference. The home side swept the visiting Lady Eagles (3-13) in three sets, 14-25, 17-25, and 11-25.

TFC’s Britney Eitutis and Kim Crapse each had 7 kills to co-lead the attack. Setter Hadley Harris assisted on 15 of the Eagles’ 19 kills. The Lady Eagles played well defensively and totaled 50 digs in the three games. Libero Rachel Morris led the way with 12 digs, Courtney Bechtold and Nikki Eitutis each added 11, and Crystal Yang contributed 9 digs.

The Lady Eagles will face region opponents Trinity Baptist College and Florida Christian College in Jacksonville, Florida, on October 5 in a tri-match hosted by Trinity Baptist College.
