TFC collaborates with Gem Southeast
Written by

Gem Southeast and Toccoa Falls College have formed collaborative efforts to enhance campus facilities and promote community partnerships.

Gem Southeast, Inc. currently operates three facilities in Stephens County and employs more than 260 individuals. The company recently hosted their annual training for national and international sales reps. Approximately 70 architectural and after-market reps from all over the U.S., Canada and Mexico participated in an annual sales rep training at the Toccoa Falls College facilities.  This annual sales training was sponsored by Global Partitions and ASI Storage Solutions, both of Stephens County, and ASI Accessories of Yonkers, New York.    The training consisted of extensive information, instruction and guidance on new product designs, along with installation exercises.  Reps were able to participate in a hands-on experiment by installing the new athletic lockers for the college.

Dr. Robert Myers, President of TFC, stated “In an effort to strengthen relationships with the Toccoa/Stephens County community and live out its mission of service, Toccoa Falls College has opened its campus facilities to local companies to strengthen ties with the community.

Toccoa Falls College is thrilled to partner with GEM Southeast to enhance our facilities for student athletes.  Through the generous donation of GEM Southeast, Toccoa Falls College received new professional lockers for all student athletes who use college locker rooms. As the college expands the number of student athletes and offers a new academic major this fall in Sport Management, this gift is vitally important to the college.”
