This week has been more difficult for me than the previous three weeks.  A lot has happened and I’m actually beginning to experience the stress of college life. 

 My family came up to see me this past Saturday.  I was SO glad to see them—mainly because my car had died just the day before. Ok, that’s not the main reason I was glad to see them, but they sure made it easier to deal with.  We ended up spending a good part of the day at AutoZone replacing the battery; but even then my car wouldn’t start.  To make a long story short, I got the car back from a repair shop yesterday.  God was faithful to answer my prayer that it wouldn’t cost too much. 

 My school work is really starting to hit me now as well.  Not that I didn’t expect it to happen, but I think I had become too used to hanging out with my friends all of the time as school was just starting.  I’ve gotten to a point where it has been difficult to balance my time.  I ended up having all of my work done by the time it was due, except one reading assignment.  You see, here they expect you to have enough integrity to sign a report saying that you either have or haven’t read the assignment (it’s a BIG change from my public high school!).  In one class, I had to be honest and sign that I had not read.  It made my stomach hurt to do it, but I felt better knowing I had done the right thing.  And I’m sure I’ll do better at managing my time in the future.
