It’s been another busy week here on the campus of TFC.  Homecoming is this weekend and one can sense the growing excitement all around.

 Monday began “Spirit Week” for us.  Every day this week was a different theme.  Monday was 80’s Day, Tuesday was Senior Day, Wednesday was Superhero Day, Thursday was Dynamic Duo Day, and today, Friday, is Spirit Day.  Everyday, people dressed up to match the theme.  It was really quite funny to see everyone’s creativity come through in their outfits. 

 I wish I could cover more of the week, but I have been in bed with something similar to the flu.  We’re still not sure what it is that I had/have, but whatever it is, it has kept me off of my feet for most of the week.  Fortunately, there were no major tests or papers due this week, so I really don’t have too much catching up to do.

 Because I was sick, I missed one of the most amazing events that we’ve had on campus—the Jars of Clay concert on Thursday night.  I heard it was really awesome and I’m so bummed that I didn’t get to go.  I had been planning on going since I heard that they were coming.

 But I need to get going now; in a few minutes our first freshman council SGA meeting will be starting.  I’m really excited to see how things will go.
