I can almost smell the turkey… Thanksgiving is so close now!  And of course, with a holiday comes a break.  At the beginning of the year, I didn’t like being away from this campus; but right now, I’m definitely feeling some burnout that I’m sure will be cured with the couple of days we get off for Thanksgiving. 

Speaking of Thanksgiving, on Tuesday night Fant Hall celebrated Fant Family Feast.  Our RD, Mrs. Jana, and one of the RAs did such an amazing job decorating our basement for our early Thanksgiving dinner.  All three halls were assigned certain parts of the meal to bring.  My hall was in charge of desserts.  After we all ate, we went around the table and each said an attribute of God that we are thankful for.  Blake, Mrs. Jana’s husband and the only male present, spoke on Psalm 100.  Then, I won a huge brown blanket because I had the hidden turkey sticker on the back of my placemat. 

On Wednesday, Fant 3^rd floor began our Christmas decorating for our next open dorm.  I’ve been told that Fant Christmas is usually a lot more fun than the first open dorm (which, if you remember, was incredibly awkward). 

Oh, I almost forgot!  Monday night was our dodge ball tournament for Freshman SGA and it went so well!!  We had 17 teams sign up and had quite a few spectators.  We also got a lot of really good feedback from Executive Council.

Well, I have a paper due in the morning, so I’d better sign off.
