Just like the weekend before, I got to see another one of my friends this past weekend!  He and two of his friends came up from Wesley College in Mississippi because their basketball team was playing in the Finals that TFC hosted this year; it was really good to see another friend.  Unlike last semester, when I didn’t have anyone come to stay with me, there have already been three weekends when friends have come. To make things even better, today yet another friend from home will be coming! 

 This week has been pretty stressful as far as schoolwork goes.  I’ve avoided all-nighters this whole year until Tuesday night.  Five of my friends and I stayed up really late that night (or morning, I guess) finishing our first research papers for our Comp II professor.  I think we lost all touch with reality by about 2 AM.  I ended up going to bed a little before 4, so I got a little less than two and a half hours of sleep before getting up and going to class.  My roommate got two hours and one of the other girls stayed up until about 5:30. 

 As I close out this entry, I’m going to ask that you pray for me and the other students here this next week.  We have midterms coming up and most of us are getting pretty stressed.  I guess we’re probably dealing with the “winter blah” or something.  At least for me personally, there’s a lot that has been weighing on me since I was out with the flu a few weeks ago.  It’s hard to find peace in all situations when stress seems to always find me first.  I’m sure we all would appreciate your prayers in this.
