Well Spring Break was last week and it didn’t go exactly to plan.  I was supposed to go to Palm Coast, Florida with 5 of my friends, but on Tuesday night (the night before we were supposed to leave) I got sick and couldn’t go.  So instead, I stayed home and ended up having a really productive week.  I got my taxes done, I sent in several job applications to camps around the country, and I helped my mom and dad out with chores around the house.  Not exactly the most exciting Spring Break, but at least I got to sleep in everyday and relax.

This week felt like it went by so quickly.  My twin sister Libby came and spent Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday with me up here at school.  It was so much fun to have her here!  We had been planning this since last semester.  We didn’t get to do too much together because I had classes and homework, but we did get to eat out and we had lots of time to talk.  A lot of people got us confused because we’re identical (they say that the only main way they can tell us apart is by our hair—hers is really short and mine is long).  Some people even came up to her and said, “Hey Molly, I like your haircut!” when I was standing right next to her.  It was pretty funny.

The Lord has really been showing me a lot during these last two weeks.  I’m still trying to learn to trust in Him for everything, especially money.  It’s so hard to see how finances will work out, but somehow, they always do.  Like I said earlier, one of the things I did over Spring Break was fill out job applications for the summer.  I want to work at a camp and so I applied at places around the country.  The one I really want to work at is in Alaska, but I don’t think my parents are too thrilled at the moment.  I have to raise support for it and so I know that it will be yet another trust issue.  God will have to do something absolutely amazing to make this possible and so I’m praying hard.  I know that He will do what is best and in His time, and I’m confident He will work everything out the way it is supposed to for this summer.  But for now, I’m off to class.

 Until next week,

Molly
