Financial Aid & Scholarships   $200 Deposit All incoming students must submit a $200 Deposit to confirm their decision to attend Toccoa Falls College.  This deposit is non-refundable after May 1st. The $200 Deposit secures the student’s housing assignment, class schedule and financial aid. Submit the $200 Deposit online at http://www.tfc.edu/adm/deposit.htm   Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) The FAFSA determines eligibility for Federal grants, loans and work-study. TFC School Code is 001596 For dependent students, both the student and parents must request a PIN to electronically sign the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Complete the FAFSA and PIN request online at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/ If you will not be submitting the FAFSA, you will need to indicate such on the TFC Financial Aid Application.   Verification Process If there is an asterisk* next to your Expected Family Contribution (EFC) on your FAFSA results, then you have been selected for Verification. To complete the Verification process, you must submit various documents to Office of Financial Aid. If selected, you will need to complete the Dependent Student Verification Worksheet and return to the Office of Financial Aid.  http://www.tfc.edu/adm/admforms/default.htm   TFC Financial Aid Application This application includes the Endowed/Funded Scholarships Application. You must have your FAFSA submitted and the verification processed completed prior to applying for the Endowed/Funded Scholarships. This also includes the information necessary for the Christian Worker Dependent Grant (CWD).  To qualify for the CWD Grant, a parent’s signature is required; however, in lieu of a signature, you may have the mission board/organization submit a letter on official letterhead confirming your parent’s status as missionaries. Upon receipt of the student’s final, official transcript (including graduation date and cumulative GPA), FAFSA, TFC Financial Aid Application and Verification documents (if applicable), it will be determined whether or not the student qualifies for additional financial assistance.   Missionary Dependent Grant This is an annual grant for dependent children of active, full-time, overseas missionaries.  The qualifying ministry must be the primary source of income for the family.  Should be ordained or licensed by their denomination.  Students who qualify for this grant do NOT qualify for the Christian Worker Dependent Grant. This grant is renewable by verification of status. View details of the Sibling Grant at http://www.tfc.edu/adm/finaid/sg.htm   Outside Scholarship If the student will be receiving any outside scholarship, an award letter on letterhead from the organization/donor must be submitted to the Office of Financial Aid.  The letter should include the amount of the scholarship, name of recipient and length of scholarship (e.g. annual, one-time only). Office of Financial Aid, PO Box 800-900, Toccoa Falls, GA 30598   Financial Aid Award Letters Upon acceptance to Toccoa Falls College, a preliminary Financial Aid Award Letter will be mailed and emailed to the student’s addresses on file.  This letter will inform the student of any entrance scholarships for which they qualify. Upon receipt of the student’s final, official transcript (including graduation date and cumulative GPA), FAFSA, TFC Financial Aid Application and Verification documents (if applicable) a final Financial Aid Award Letter will be mailed and emailed to the student’s addresses on file.   TFC Self-Invoice or Pre-Pay Discount Form Upon receipt of the Financial Aid Award, the next step is to complete the TFC Self-Invoice at http://www.tfc.edu/adm/admforms Please include the following expenses for all incoming students:  Tuition, Room & Board, Winterim Tuition, Winterim Room & Board and Student Fee To save 4% on the balance of the Student Account, the Pre-Pay Discount Form must be completed and the balance must be paid by July 1st.  This can be completed online at http://www.tfc.edu/adm/admforms
