REQUIREMENTS FOR GRADUATION
Student ministry is a requirement for graduation. Students must
successfully complete a minimum of four semesters of student ministry,
(five semesters for all Bible and Theology majors) for the Bachelor’s
degree. Students must successfully complete a minimum of two semesters
of student ministry for the Associate of Arts degree. Transfer students
must successfully complete one student ministry for each semester
enrolled, with a maximum of four student ministries for a Bachelor’s
degree (five semesters for all Bible and Theology majors) and two
student ministries for an Associate of Arts degree. Each school has the
option of requiring a minimum of six semesters of student ministry.
Students must meet these requirements to receive permission to
participate in commencement or receive a diploma.
The college requires new and
transfer students that matriculate at TFC for the first time in fall
2002 or later to complete an evangelism student ministry as one of the
student ministries required for graduation. The experience must have
significant and intentional engagement with unsaved individuals, with
the expectation of personally sharing Christ with them, to count as an
evangelistic student ministry. These ministries are marked in the
listing below.
TRANSCRIPTS AND RECORD RETENTION
The Office of Student Ministry maintains official transcripts.
Transcripts record all of the ministries students have attempted and
completed. Students may request a copy of their transcript at any time.
The Office of Student Ministry transfers student ministry transcripts to
the Registrar’s Office permanent files after students leave the college.
The Office of Student Ministry retains student files for four years.
