Every business school has its distinctives and strong points. One of ours is while students learn the latest business methods and expertise, they hear how to link learning, faith, and life in the business workplace. Character, servant leadership, and business ethics are woven into each course at TFC.

Graduates interested in full-time Christian service could pursue positions such as church business administrators, administrative pastors, school and institutional business managers, or mission field treasurers. Those interested in business careers could aspire to positions such as managers, accountants, finance officers, sales and marketing representatives, and office coordinators.   Upon graduation, students are also prepared to enter in the advanced degree of their choosing.

3.

Do all business students take the same courses or can I specialize in areas that interest me?

TFC’s School of Business Administration works with cooperating businesses to assist students in securing summer internships, scholarships, and jobs after graduation. Officers from these companies and other entrepreneurs frequently set up booths in the student center to share information about their companies and to answer students’ questions. Other community and Atlanta business leaders lecture in classes sharing valuable, practical experiences and advice.

I plan on training for church ministry or missions work. What business courses could I take at TFC to help me in my future ministry?

Students majoring outside the School of Business may take as many business courses as their schedules permit. Principles of Accounting I, Introduction to Business, and Business for Nonprofit Organizations are examples of courses helpful to non-business students. 8.

What kind of work experience do the professors have?

The SBA’s faculty brings to the classroom broad experience in secular and religious institutions as well as advanced degrees in business and management.

Our School of Business Director has 38 years experience in accounting, publishing, nonprofit administration, missions, education, and church ministries. One of our professors worked 26 years for the Federal Government's Center for Disease Control and another is the vice-president of one of Atlanta's largest electrical contractors.  Another professor has years of experience in copywriting, marketing and promotion for non-profit organizations as well as leadership in customer and public relations.

Not only do our students benefit from the faculty’s life experiences and graduate training, they also feel the passion and concern that the faculty demonstrate when teaching, advising or simply walking the campus with the students.
