The School of
Arts & Sciences at Toccoa Falls College has the task of laying a broad
and deep foundation on which a full intellectual life can be built by
those who love God with their minds. By providing the general education
classes in the Core Curriculum, we train students in the basic skills of
thought and research and give them the broad perspectives that make
success in more specialized studies possible.
For those who desire two
years of training at a Christian college before pursuing majors offered
by a secular university, or who only need a junior-college degree, we
offer the Associate of Arts degree.
The B.A. in English gives
lovers of the written word an outstanding preparation for graduate study
of literature. It is also a preferred degree for students headed for
seminary or law school, etc. All these programs encourage students to
view all of life from a biblical perspective to the glory of God.
The BS in Biology is excellent preparation for medical, dental,
veterinary, or pharmacy school or for a career in science. It puts
the student in a position to appreciate the marvels of God's creation.
The BA or BS in Pre-Law integrates faith and learning across a
range of disciplines that prepare the student to succeed in Law School
and apply the biblical world view to society.
