Assistant Professor of English
Professor Thomas joined the Toccoa Falls College faculty in 2000 as an assistant professor of English. Before coming to TFC, Alisa worked as a graduate teaching assistant in English at the University of Louisville, served as a lead teacher and English chairperson at the Christian Academy in Louisville, Kentucky where she taught middle school English, and has served several years as a Sunday school teacher at Lakewood Baptist Church. She is also an active faculty member at TFC serving on committees and leading a Barnabas Group for students.

Professor Thomas is a member of The Jane Austen Society of North America, The Nathaniel Hawthorne Society, and Conference on Christianity and Literature. She has published two study guides for the Progeny Press for The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and Anne of Green Gables.
