Alina Yang, Assistant Professor of Teacher Education
I was born and grew up in Southern California. I am married with five boys (a set of triplets): Levi, Jaxon, Jace, Josiah, and Joshua.
I taught in the public schools for 12 years in Georgia and Kansas before coming to TFC. My experience in the public schools consist of being a classroom teacher and a reading specialist. I was also a mentor teacher with Emporia State University for six years working with pre-service teachers.
While I was teaching, I also taught college reading at Metropolitan Community College as an adjunct professor.
For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.
