The School of Professional Studies prepares students for ministry in professional career positions. Outstanding curricula and instruction, substantiated by regional, national and state professional accrediting organizations, prepare and equip future teachers, musicians and business leaders. Professors with first-hand experience in the professional workplace teach practical skills and contemporary strategies from a biblical worldview.

The Business Administration Department recognizes that the future of our world will be profoundly influenced through leaders with vision, passion, and talent. Therefore, we equip future servant leaders with the knowledge, skills, and character pertinent to serve as business professionals. We are committed to giving learners the tools to succeed in national, international, cross-cultural, and multi-ethnic business and ministry organizations. Hands-on learning and small class sizes demonstrate the commitment of our faculty to our students’ success as we provide a quality, professionally-accredited Christian business education.
The Music Department prepares students for careers in music ministry, music education, and music performance. With a focus on comprehensive musicianship, individualized instruction, ensemble experiences and the use of latest technology, the music department seeks to lead students to lifelong learning and service.
The Teacher Education Department prepares men and women to teach in Christian, international, public and private schools. This department conceptual framework has defined its existence. It states: Teaching is a calling! The biblical example of a teacher as modeled by Christ is one who possesses knowledge, skills and character appropriate to help all students learn. Those servant leaders called by God to this vocation will be prepared in knowledge, skills and character for effective and Christ-like service in the diverse and dynamic classroom of the 21st century. The Teacher Education programs exist to prepare Christian students to become qualified classroom teachers, preparing its candidates to teach with passion and professionalism.
Distinctives of this department include:
- four specific areas of certification: Early Childhood, Middle Grades, Music Education, and Secondary Education.
- field experiences which include multiple rich and diverse opportunities in actual classroom settings.
- interaction with local schools in placing students in field experiences and practicum teaching
- TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) Endorsement overseas student teaching opportunities
The program is approved by the Professional Standards Commission of the State of Georgia, and graduates are eligible for teacher certification, with a reciprocal agreement with most other states in the USA.
