Youth Ministry Major
Christian Education Department
Youth Ministries equips future servant leaders with knowledge, skill, and character pertinent to youth-related ministries in church and faith-based organizations, from a biblical world view for kingdom service. Naturally established from biblical principles, the major offers both theory and practical application of ministry to youth through courses centering on familial relationships, communicating to youth, youth culture and issues, youth evangelism and discipleship, counseling adolescents, and leadership formation. Finally, an internship with first-hand experience under a professional mentor caps off the program’s experience.
One of the most popular majors at Toccoa Falls College, the program centers on making disciples of young people in a constantly growing and changing dimension of the church and its ministries.
** Please note: This program description is for students entering Toccoa Falls College in the 2012-2013 catalog year.
