Ministry Leadership Major
Christian Education Department
Ministry Leadership is an ideal major for those anticipating lifelong ministry services in various components of church life, especially in leadership roles. The Ministry Leadership major equips future servant leaders with knowledge, skill, and character pertinent to disciple-making ministries with children, youth, and adults in church and faith-based organizations. The program trains students through courses such as biblical foundations of leadership, management theory, development of leaders, organizational conflict and culture, and a seminar in ministry leadership. Finally, an internship with first-hand experience under a professional mentor caps off the program’s learning objectives.
Constructed with a biblical world-view for kingdom service, this major is offered in two formats online and residential. The on-line version offers the ideal distance education experience for individuals with some college experience who desire preparation for ministry without moving to the campus.
** Please note: This program description is for students entering Toccoa Falls College in the 2012-2013 catalog year.
