Team Sportsmanship Award
The Toccoa Falls College Women's Soccer Team was awarded the National Intercollegiate Soccer Officials Association Team Sportsmanship Award for the conduct of the team and coaching staff at the Division II National Christian College Athletic Association Women's Soccer Tournament this past November.
The award was determined by a vote of the National Championship referees that assisted with the event. The award was also mentioned in various meetings at the National Soccer Coaches Convention in Indianapolis.
Dan Wood, Executive Director of the NCCAA, also sent his congratulations to the team and coaching staff. In his letter to Coach Bowman, Mr. Wood stated: "Thank you for serving our Lord through sports and for being an example of what God can do when men are willing to pour themselves into young people. Eternity will reveal the true value of your commitment and service!"
