Overnight Information
Prospective Students
The overnight visit program at TFC is designed to provide high school juniors and seniors with an opportunity to experience college life a little more fully than a day visit alone can provide. We provide a place to spend the night to make your trip more manageable and pleasant for students that travel quite a distance to Toccoa. We invite you to stay on campus one night and two days free of charge, including meals in our dining hall. In the event that special circumstances arise and a second night's stay is necessary, you can pay $10.00 per additional night to the Resident Director of the residence hall where you stay. Students are welcome to visit TFC during the summer and times when school is not in session; however, housing cannot always be guaranteed. Contact the Visitation Coordinator for more information if you are interested in visiting during one of these times.
What to Bring
A Student Ambassador in one of our residence halls will host you as an overnight guest here at TFC. Please bring a sleeping bag, pillow, towel, Bible, as well as any toiletry items you may need with you. Whether you decide to stay overnight or come just for the day, you might want to bring along your camera to show your friends and family pictures from your experiences and of course the beautiful Toccoa Falls.
Parents
If available, parents of prospective students are welcome to stay in Forrest Guest House free of charge for one night and two days, as long as arrangements are made through the Office of Admissions. Accommodations are limited and reservations are required - the earlier the better. If an additional night stay is necessary, you can pay $45.00-$65.00 based on available rooms. Debbie and Jim Dixon, the Forrest Guest House hosts, should receive payment at check-out, if applicable. The Guest House provides linens and a complimentary light breakfast consisting of muffins and coffee. The Guest House check-in time is 4:00 p.m. and check-out time is 11:00 a.m.
