School of Music

Excellence
If musical excellence is your desire, the Toccoa Falls College School of Music has the comprehensive music program that will equip you with the skills you need. For many years the School of Music curriculum has been rooted in the classical tradition, as are the music curricula of major colleges and universities throughout the United States. But Toccoa Falls College has the distinction of preparing dedicated Christian students in a Christian atmosphere. We are preparing performers, music educators, and church musicians to impact the world for Jesus Christ. Each student is guided to mastery of the art by patient and knowledgeable instruction in applied lessons (in voice, piano, and all band and orchestral instruments), ensembles, and courses which stress mastery of both the idiom and thought processes involved in the world's great music.

Looking to the Future
New trends in music, both within the evangelical church and in the world at large, color our campus life. Toccoa Falls College is in frequent contact with various cultures, and students are encouraged to explore music as diverse as contemporary Christian, jazz, twentieth century, and Peruvian folk song, just to name a few.

All programs of study include courses in music theory, music history, performance, the humanities, and Bible.  Majors in the Toccoa Falls College School of Music include Music, Church Music, and Performance.  A Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education is offered through the School of Teacher Education.
