School of Christian Education

    If God has given you an interest in teaching the Word of God and equipping the Church for service, then the School of Christian Education is for you.

    The purpose of the Toccoa Falls College School of Christian Education is to bring people to maturity and prepare them for ministry. It builds upon a strong biblical/theological base while integrating insights from the social sciences and educational technology.

    Christian education is concerned with the practical dimensions of discipling and edifying the church. Our emphasis is on spiritual formation and the practical skills of biblical discipleship. A student's readiness covers everything from the stages of discipleship to faith development, from youth culture and issues to educational ministries of the church, from marriage and family relationships to small groups ministries. Preparation also includes the consideration of recruiting and training ministry leaders, leading home Bible studies, and developing ministries to children, youth, adults, and families.
