International Student Checklist

Please complete the following checklist in order to be considered for admission to Toccoa Falls College.

Step One
Complete the Application for Admission and pay the $25.00 (USD) application fee.

Step Two
Download the Pastoral Reference form to be completed by pastor and/or youth pastor. Send the completed Pastoral Reference form to the Office of Admissions.

Step Three
Arrange to have your final/official high school and/or college transcripts sent directly to the Office of Admissions. A translation and evaluation service may be required. Please see Transcript Translations (step 5) and/or Transcript Evaluations (step 6) for more information.

Step Four
Complete TOEFL testing requirements (if applicable). International applicants whose primary language of instruction was not English, must take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).

Step Five
Upon receipt of all items in Steps 1-4, an admissions decision will be made. An official letter will be sent directly to the student informing them of the decision. Even though a student may be accepted to Toccoa Falls College, an F-1 Visa will not be issued until Steps 6-7 are completed.

Step Six
Complete and send, via postal mail, the International Student Financial Certification Form and Financial Sponsorship page(s), certifying available funding in the amount of $21,050 (USD).

Step Seven
Submit the $200 (USD) Non-refundable Deposit via postal mail, telephone or online. Toccoa Falls College accepts Visa, MasterCard and American Express.

Step Eight
Upon completion of Steps 1-6, the Office of Admissions will send the Form 1-20 by express mail to the student's mailing address provided on the application. Upon receipt of the Form 1-20, the student must then apply for the F-1 Student Visa up to 90 days prior to the arrival date.

Step Nine
Upon receipt of the I-20, but prior to an interview with the Embassy, the applicant must complete the Form I-901 for SEVIS and pay the $100.00 (USD) SEVIS Fee. You can do so by clicking on the following link https://www.fmjfee.com/index.jhtml .

Step Ten
Prior to enrollment and arrival to Toccoa Falls College, applicants must secure adequate insurance coverage. Students must notify the Office of Admissions upon securing proper insurance coverage.

Step Eleven
Upon approval of your F-1 Visa, the applicant must make their own travel arrangements to arrive at Toccoa Falls College on move-in day of the appropriate semester. Please see Important Dates for Incoming Students for precise dates and times.
