Forrest Hall

The Forrest Hall men’s dorm at TFC is comfortably situated on lower campus between Gate Cottage restaurant near the Toccoa Falls waterfall and the Williams Chapel and Woerner World Missions building. Originally built in 1963, the dorm has recently undergone renovations to better accommodate the 200 men who live there. The bonds of brotherhood which begin in Forrest Hall remain strong even after the residents move on to other housing on campus or graduate.
The dorm consists of three wings: “A” wing, with 2 floors; “B” wing, with 3 floors; and “C” wing, with 3 floors. A and B wings have undergone extensive remodeling within the individual rooms. Each room has two new sets of bunk beds, wardrobe closets, desks and chairs as well as a new sink and vanity for roommates to share. Community bathrooms are located at the end of each hall (two bathrooms per floor) for both A and B wings. Although the C wing remodeling has not been completed, new carpet was laid as of fall 2008. The rooms on C wing are in a suite style with 2 rooms sharing a bathroom between. Each suite has a set of wardrobes, beds, desks and chairs. All rooms in Forrest Hall are equipped with individual heating and air units.
Common areas shared by the men include a kitchen located on 2nd floor B wing, laundry machines located in the basement of A wing, and the lobby area found adjacent to C wing. The spacious lobby area plays host to a wide screen TV and numerous couches used by groups for studying, playing games or just relaxing near the stone fire place. Forrest Hall also provides convenient parking in close proximity to the dorm for students who bring a car to campus.
