Men's Soccer
The Toccoa Falls College Men’s Soccer Program has a long and successful history. This past season they finished second in the Region and received an at large bid to the NCCAA DII National Tournament. Over the years they have won the Region 14 times and placed second three times at the National Tournament. The program has placed more than twenty players on the NCCAA DII All-American Teams. This season Jake Warren was added to that list of players.
The Eagles are excited about the upcoming 2007 season. With the potential for returning 14 players, they are looking forward to the challenge of competing for another South Region Championship.
Jim Mattison will be entering his second season as head coach of the Eagles. Coach Mattison played soccer for two years at Mercer University and then transferred to Toccoa Falls College to finish up his career. He graduated from the college in 1983 with a degree in Christian Education. Most recently, he has been coaching at Christian Heritage High School in Gainesville, GA. The athletic department is confident that Coach Mattison will build on the previous success of the soccer program.
